Hi there! My name is Sofia, a graphic design student from Iittala! You might know me on social media as Harakan Works.

 

Born in 2008, I’m a big dreamer. Boring design depress me, so my mission is to bring cuteness and a touch of childlike whimsy into the world –even into the lives of adults. After all, who wouldn't be cheered up by a cute mascot or a page border decorated with hearts?

 

Ever since I was little, I’ve loved designs inspired by Japanese and internet cultures. Cute characters, cat-girls, and cheerful themes have always been close to my heart. While I mostly love all things cute, I’d be lying if I said edgier themes didn't interest me, too. Styles and themes like Menhera, Jirai-kei, and Yami/guro-kawaii are just as dear to me as Lolita and Decora-kei!

 

A lot of people think I’m a pretty weird individual, but I believe my uniqueness isn't a bad thing. That’s why I don’t intend to hide it, even in my professional life. My dream is to bring some light to our club of weird cuteness-lovers and internet culture enthusiasts! So, if you feel like a weirdo and need illustrations or any kind of visual work done...
